The Oregon Institute of Marine Biology hosts weekly seminars at the Boathouse Auditorium in Fall, Spring and Summer terms. Guest speakers report on their research to students and staff. Seminars cover a wide variety of marine topics and provide students with an opportunity to meet marine scientists. One seminar each term is specifically designed for the public, but all are open to public attendance.

Fall 2023: All seminars will be in person. There will be a public lecture at 7pm on November 9th in the OIMB Boathouse Auditorium.
Summer 2023: All seminars will be in person. There will be a public lecture at 7pm on June 28th in the OIMB Boathouse Auditorium.
Spring 2023: All seminars will be in person. There will be a public lecture at 7pm on May 5th in the OIMB Boathouse Auditorium.
Fall 2022: All seminars will be in person except the seminar on November 11th which will be via zoom. There will be a public lecture at 7pm on October 14th in the OIMB Boathouse Auditorium.
Summer 2022: Some seminars will be in person, some via zoom (see flyer for specifics). There will be a public lecture at 7pm on July 13th in the OIMB Boathouse Auditorium.
Spring 2022: All seminars will be in person. There will be a public lecture at 7pm on May 6th.
